End of Term 3

It has been a busy term with lots of learning. It has been great to see Room 10 explore our local waterways and even get out for some skipping practice.

Army Men Launchers

Room 10 have really been showing how they can work together and problem solve when given some challenging construction projects by Miss Donald.

These army men launchers worked really well and it is great to see Room 10 working together to achieve a shared goal.

Well done.

Our Water

The kids have been getting stuck in learning about our local river and ways to keep it clean and healthy.

We managed to get down to the Manawatu River to learn about water testing then we had a guest speaker from Horizons. We talked about ways we can keep sediment and pollution out of our streams and rivers.

Literacy Week

What a great week with lots of interesting events around our favourite books.

Well done to all of Room 10 for their best efforts during our morning quiz and being a great audience for the teachers play.

Looking back on our marea visit. The students really got involved and showed a great attitude.

End of another exciting week.

Room 10 really showed their fantastic swimming skills this week. We also continued to work hard in class as we finished up our new class treaty.
